How BAM uses cookies, browser storage and embedded services.

1. Essential technology
BAM uses strictly necessary cookies and similar browser storage to provide secure supplier and platform-owner sign-in, protect sessions, remember essential application state and make the website work reliably. These technologies are not used for advertising.
2. Public website
The public BAM pages do not set advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies. The site may store limited technical files in your browser so repeat visits load more quickly and the installable web app can operate.
3. Embedded maps and external services
Pages can load maps from OpenStreetMap and display information supplied by Google Maps. Those services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and the page requested, and their own policies apply. Following a link to an adventure company's website also takes you to a service controlled by that company.
4. Non-essential cookies
If BAM uses analytics, marketing or other non-essential cookies, they will not be placed until the required information and consent controls are provided. You can also delete or block cookies using your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies will prevent account sign-in.
