3 months agoAmazing staff and instructors in the climbing centre. Teenage and younger sons enjoyed learning to climb with a great instructor. Calm and relaxed atmosphere with superb facilities for any waiting parents/partners too. Outdoor play for children is worth a visit on its own without the cafe offering everything from great coffee to pizza to ice cream! Easily a two hour visit and opportunities for lovely walks from the centre too.

2 weeks agoAmazing climbing session today at 11am .Wish I could remember the instructors name (possibly Andy but not certain) as he was excellent, very patient and spent time literally showing the ropes to my 10 and 12 year old girls. We were lucky to have the taster session to ourselves and were so impressed at what the girls achieved in an hour, with instruction... 1 of them is keen to do regular climbing club there now! Was especially good as grandparents had treated the session and really enjoyed watching the girls achieve 'great heights'. It's a lovely location with genuine people who want to make the most of your experience. We have visited the centre a fair few times before over the last 7 years or so and enjoyed kayaking (again we would acknowledge the instructor ....was v helpful with with carting kayaks about when I took 4 children on my own while also encouraging the children.) High ropes also proved fun. It's a lovely walk from the centre to taf Bargoed park & lake. The cafe and facilities are excellent too.

a month agoTook my 7 year old for a climbing taster session. It was £15 for 50 minutes and he absolutely loved it. Kevin the instructor was excellent and we will definitely be back!
