a week agoVery beautiful but not as expected because we went in winter so the water was dry. Didn't see the blue color like in the picture that they said. It's quite a long walk inside. There are many places in there. It's worth walking down deep for beautiful pictures.

2 weeks agoVery nice place but don't go by the public photos. Access is to only a small part and most of the area is dry. Still fascinating to see but definitely misleading if you think you will see blue pools.

4 months agoWe really enjoyed this. There was a lot to do and see. The thermal spas were great. I'd recommend getting there as early as possible if you want to get some nice photographs as it can get overwhelmingly busy. Bring your own food if you can to save some money. It is worth trying the freshly squeezed pomegranate juice that is on sale there . I also recommend buying tickets with cash rather than card as you will have to wait longer if using card

2 weeks agoFirst of all, this place is worth visiting for its history and thermal pool, once in a lifetime experience. But it’s completely NOT worth the 30 euro entrance fee in my opinion, on top of 80 lira parking and 350 lira audio guide. There’s no map given to guide you where to walk. We came at 3pm and didn’t know the archeology museum closes at 4.45pm and some of archeological sites close at 6pm. They should do a better job informing tourist on suggested path and closure time so that we won’t miss some important attractions

a month agoThis was basically a once in a lifetime place to visit. You don't see rock and water like this just anywhere. And before I visited I didn't know it was an ancient city. There were really old structures that reference the underworld. There was a huge theater that is a must-see and a lot more structures and ancient trinkets on display. The Travertines themselves were incredible to walk on. You need to take your shoes and socks off but the surface is textured so it's not hard to walk on. The water at the top is warm but the pools that are formed are very cold but refreshing.
