Long overdue… I booked my first canyoning experience through Iris Adventures Split due to their fantastic reviews, and I was not disappointed! The team was professional and did a fair job of letting us know where our pickup spot was in Split. Their equipment and safety tutorial were high quality and put me at ease since there are multiple components to canyoning (climbing, rappelling, cliff jumping, and sliding down the canyon). The guides were knowledgeable of the river and gave great tips throughout the adventure. They even held our arms so we could be momentarily submerged into a waterfall! Although the experience was only about 1 mile down the Centina river, we got hours of adventure out of it. We would recommend Iris Adventures Split to anyone novice or experienced with canyoning.

I initially booked Canyoning with another tour company. As I was the only one booked for that day, they booked me with this company. My guides were Antonia, Matija, and Danijel. At first, they seemed cold and unbothered, but the guides were GREAT! They ensured we were safe at all time. Then, they ensured we had a fun experience! I am scared of height, so I didn't know if I wanted to do the extreme canyoning vs standard canyoning. The difference between the 2 is rappelling (1 of approx 55 meters + 1 of about 15 meters high). You can choose and change your mind when you arrive at the rappelling part. The guides were so helpful and trustful that they helped me fight my fear of height and ended up doing the extreme canyoning. The river starts in a very sunny zone so when you enter the fresh water, it is refreshing. As you get towards the end, it is more in the shadow and you've been quite some time in the water. If you have an extra layer, I would suggest to wear it as it gets "colder" towards the end. I would highly suggest to book with Iris Adventures if you want to have some adrenaline. Thanks again to the guides, I'll forever remember this adventure!

Did the Via Ferrata tour in Omis. It was an amazing tour, the views and my first time doing via ferrata made for an unforgettable experience! Very challenging though so make sure you bring water, shoes with good traction (I learned that on the way back down) and be ready for cardio and heights. Our guides were super encouraging and had a lot of knowledge about the area

Brilliant fun, beautiful canyon, great guides, being English took time to not think the rocks were slimy and slippy and would slip when walking in the river, weird my feet gripped. Loads of jumping in, cool being lowered down on a rope. Did it with my 2 boys 12 and 15 who did flips off the 4m jump in and loved the whole thing.

Must do in Croatia! :) The team is highly professional and experienced, and they can make any extreme level safe, fun and comfortable. We’ve had a wonderful experience yesterday hiking, swimming, cliff jumping, sliding down the Cetina river on our bums and climbing down the vertical cliff with a rope, aka rappelling️‍️. It was the best workout I’ve had in years, the views were breathtaking and the water was perfectly refreshing on a 35 C degrees hot summer day. Loved our amazing team and how everyone was sharing the same experience, and special thanks to our instructors who made the day special and coordinated every step really well. Expectation management by the instructors was also great, when they explained to us each part of the trip, for example ‘now we are going to walk for about 10 mins, and then will be entering the water to cross the river’ - it helps to visualise the next part of the journey, level of effort and to access how best to spend your calories :)
