How to connect to BigAdventureMap.com and what to expect when a contract is in place.

How do we get the process started? (10min process)

  • Very importantly, make sure you have set up contract terms with the commission rate as well as selecting the correct products. WE ONLY TAKE 10% COMMISSION
  • The first step for you is to setup your account ensuring that your Profile on BigAdventureMap.com matches exactly your account name/company name on Bokun.
  • BigAdventureMap.com will guide you through the onboarding process and accept the proposal, if you fulfill their criteria and have the products they are looking for. BigAdventureMap.com will accept the contract.
  • There is a one time setup fee for Bokun partners for a listing. We accept commission rates on our sales channel for 10%. This small fee is to support our admin costs.
  • Once you have created the profile we can create listings for your activities. Non Bokun Partners pay per Listing for their activities although Bokun Partners have the benefit of a one off fee.

What happens after you have created your first BigAdventureMap.com – Live integration is possible?

  • When you create a new product in Bókun and you would like to have it sold on BigAdventureMap.com, you have to add the product to the BigAdventureMap.com contract terms, under product selection’s tab, and send a contract amendment to BigAdventureMap.com.
  • Text description and images that appear on BigAdventureMap.com is managed by BigAdventureMap.com.
  • Prices on BigAdventureMap.com are managed by you on Bókun
  • Cancellations and amendments by BigAdventureMap.com, will appear on Bókun and you will receive an email notification when there is a cancellation or the booking has been amended.

What do you need to keep in mind?

  • If you remove products from your contract terms, send an email to info@BigAdventureMap.com  and let them know.
  • When you send a contract amendment, write in a comment within the terms identifying the changes you have made to the contract terms (product, prices, commission).

Invoicing and payments

When a product is sold on BigAdventureMap.com, this means that BigAdventureMap.com also is accepting the payment. BigAdventureMap.com offers two options for payment. Direct bank withdrawals on the net sales amount (sales less commission) on a monthly basis, together with a monthly statement. Or, utilising Stripe connect to automatically split the activity payment.
